YOUR SPACE / FENG SHUI & EVERYDAY LIVING
Bedroom planner
THE REASON BEHIND THE ROOM
Space first. Tradition in context.
A clear floor plan is a starting point, not a verdict on your home.
Bed placement: approach & sourcesMeasured conflicts
Furniture footprints are checked for overlaps, wall crossings and the entered inward 90-degree door sweep. Furniture rotates in 90-degree steps. Rooms are rectangular and flat; sloped ceilings, built-in fixtures and vertical stacking are not modeled.
Clearance and real-world checks
A conservative 10 cm grid looks for a route from a doorway to the middle of the required bed sides at your chosen width. Window and storage approach areas use that same target, not a regulatory minimum. The route assumes the door is open; measure the parked leaf, accessibility needs and any required exit in person. No automatic layout is a safety certification.
Traditional feng shui preferences
A supported headboard and an offset from the door line are traditional spatial preferences. They are not health, wealth or luck predictions. Compass labels reflect only the direction you enter, not a personally favorable direction or a complete bagua analysis.
How alternatives are chosen
A limited, deterministic grid search tries positions for movable furniture. Dimensions, furniture count, openings and locks stay unchanged. Only conflict-free candidates that improve at least one check without worsening route or confirmation counts are shown. A search can miss a better arrangement; no result does not prove that your room is impossible.
Your room and the ChiTap app
This measured draft stays in this browser unless you choose to download it. Room files are a separate format from the quick-check codes in the current Android app. Those saved rooms are not replaced, and this editor does not transfer to the app yet.
